How TheTopDeal works
Curated deals from hundreds of trusted brands — every discount checked, every link verified to work. Here’s how we do it.
1. We aggregate
We pull deals every hour from three major affiliate networks: eBay, Verified (Best Buy, Macy’s, Home Depot, hundreds more), and Verified. Thousands of items, filtered for real markdowns.
2. We filter
Every item must clear our quality bar: 20% off minimum, $20+ price, and $5+ savings. Items from sellers with poor feedback get filtered out. We never show inflated “was” prices or fake markdowns.
3. We rank
Items get a popularity score based on seller trust signals (feedback rate, transaction history, listing priority). Top-ranked items rise to the front. Duplicates from multiple sellers get collapsed into one.

Are the prices real?
Yes. Each price comes directly from the retailer’s API and updates every hour. If a price has changed since we synced, the retailer’s product page will show the current one when you click through — we always defer to live pricing at checkout.
Do you actually verify the deals?
Every item shown has been confirmed by the retailer’s own data to have a markdown of at least 20% off the regular price. We don’t make up discounts and we don’t show items with vague “was” pricing. If a retailer doesn’t have markdown data, the item doesn’t appear here.
How do you make money?
When you click a deal and make a purchase at the retailer, we earn a small commission — usually 1–8% — from the brand. You pay the same price whether you go through us or directly. Our incentive is to send you to deals you actually want, because we only earn when you find something worth buying.
How often are deals updated?
Our feeds sync every hour. New deals appear continuously; expired or out-of-stock items are pruned automatically. We currently have over 2,000 active deals at any given time.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t have a “data product.” When you click a deal, the retailer drops their own cookie for attribution — that’s standard for affiliate links. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
